Ada Jane Davis

Ada Jane Davis, age 79, of Forest City, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Ada was born on Wednesday, October 14, 1942 in Manchester, Tennessee to the late James Ray “Doc” Ledbetter and Vera Mae Hines Ledbetter. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family dearly. Ada also enjoyed helping her late husband with yard work. She was an avid reader and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Forest City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Davis, Jr., a brother, Doris Ray Ledbetter and her daughter, Angela Davis.

Left to cherish fond memories are her two daughters, Barbara Hill (Alan) of Shelby, Cathie Landis of Gaffney and a son, Derrek Davis (Sheila) of Chesnee. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Alex Hill, Casey Landis and Savannah Davis.

A private graveside service will be conducted with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating.
