Becky Coffey Lawter

Becky Coffey Lawter, age 53, of Chesnee, SC, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Becky was born Monday, July 22, 1968 in Rutherford County to the late Raymond Coffey, Jr. and Geneva Ramsey Coffey. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, Tommy Dean Lawter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving sons, Leonard Coffey (Crissy) of Forest City and Tommy Wayne Lawter of Spartanburg; sister, Kathy Towery of Forest City; two brothers, Robbie Coffey of Forest City and Richard Coffey of Cleveland County. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Malakai Ford and Paisley Coffey.

A private graveside service will be conducted for the family with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating.
