Bettie Jane Hogan, age 76, of Bostic, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Bettie was born October 16, 1944 in Jefferson City, Missouri to the late Robert Settle and Betty Shearer Settle. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Allied Signal in Barstow, California for many years. Bettie was an accomplished basket weaver and mastered the Nantucket Lightship Style of weaving. Which is a very intricate weave.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Gray.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of thirty-eight years, Timothy Hogan; son, Robert D. Timpane of Ontario, California; daughter, Karelle Ann Timpane of Sarasota, Florida and a grandson, Joseph Squire.
