Betty Aldridge

Mrs. Betty Lucell Smith Aldridge, age 76 of 209 Walker Drive, Forest City, NC passed away Thursday, November 2, 2006 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. She was born January 22, 1930 in Rutherford County to the late George Washington Smith and Linda Cochran Smith. In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by 2 borthers, John Smith and Bill Smith. She was the widow of Billy Roy Aldridge and a homemaker. Betty was also a member of the Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church.

Betty is survived by sons, Michael Aldridge and Ronnie Aldridge and his wife Donna, all of Forest City; a daughter and her husband Karen & Steve Sepko of Blacksburg, SC; 2 brothers, Sam Smith of Ellenboro, and Henry Smith of Shelby; four sisters, Katie Costner of Kings Mountain, Glenda Franklin of Shelby, Evelyn Ludlun of Rockingham, and Mary Brock of Spindale; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
