Bobby Reece, age 71, of Toms Lake Road, Forest City, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the CarePartners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville.

Bobby was born Sunday, April 29, 1951 in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late Balam Reece, Sr. and Virginia Woody Reece. He worked as a mechanic for East Coast Cycles for twenty-four years. Bobby had a love for motorcycles and hot rods. He was also gifted at growing plants and was known for his “green thumb.”  Bobby was personally connected to his Indian Heritage and was proud of his Indian ancestry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Shane Reece and Shaun Reece; sisters, Diane Hicks and Theresa Cantrell; a grandson, Trevor Reece and close friends, Billy and Janice Cole.

Left to cherish fond memories include his brother, Gary Reece of Dahlonega, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and special family friends, Leah Lucas and Sara Cole both of Forest City.

A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at his residence.

Memorial donations are requested to the CarePartners Hospice Solace Center, 21 Belvedere Road, Asheville, NC  28803.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
