Brian Millis

Brian Millis, age 52, of Cliffside, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Mary Black Hospital in Spartanburg, SC. He fought a long and courageous battle with COVID and the Lord gave him the victory.  Brian was born Wednesday, October 23, 1968 in Rutherford County to the late Earl Bradley Millis and Betty Dills Millis. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1987 and a member of High Shoal Baptist Church. Brian enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons and was a paintball enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Hayes Millis and sister, Julie Millis Yelton.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Geraldine Millis McAbee (Dannie) of Forest City; Tim Millis of Ellenboro; nieces and nephews, Crystal Carter (Scott), Kevin McAbee, Robyn Yelton, Scott Millis, Steven Millis (US Navy, Guam), Shawn Millis and Joshua Yelton (Stephanie); fur babies, Dobby and Gateway.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Shane Adkins and Reverend Eugene Passmore officiating. Interment will follow at High Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
