Brian W. Ruff

Brian W. Ruff, age 44, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby.  Brian was born Monday, September 5, 1977 in Rutherford County to the late Junior Ruff and Sue Skinner Ruff. He worked as a machinist most of his life and was an avid fisherman. Brian was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sherri Crawford and a brother, Kevin Tallent.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Marina Ruff, Skye Ruff, Kirsten Spangler and Kaleb Davis; sisters, Sandi Thomas (Jimmy) of Cliffside, Linda Sprouse (Mike) of Forest City, Angel Maxwell (Wayne) of Mooresboro, Kim Spangler (Scott) of Shelby, Edith Ellis (Donald) of Laurens, SC; brothers, Mike Ruff (Lynn) of Forest City, Kenny Tallent (Joyce) of Mooresboro, Marty Ruff (Paula); granddaughter, Noella Davis and a host of nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be conducted from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Harrelson Funeral Home.

Memorial donations are requested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral costs.
