Carolyn Saine Moore, age 72, of Mooresboro, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at her residence.

Carolyn was born May 15, 1948 in Rutherford County to the late Clyde Saine, Sr. and Eunice Lancaster Saine. She was a graduate of Chase High School and a past member of Sandy Mush Baptist Church. She worked for Cone Mills for several years and for the Wal-Mart Bakery for over twenty years. Carolyn enjoyed growing flowers, writing poems and especially spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-two years, Harold Vick Moore; brothers, Charles Saine, Clyde Saine, Jr.  and a sister, Myrtle Heusinkveld.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Paula Chino (Dominic) of Mooresboro and Alisha Phillips (Chris Johnson) of Forest City; two sons, Steven Phillips of Forest City and Clark Phillips, Jr. of Mooresboro; sister, Ramona Lane of Forest City and brother, James Saine of Mooresboro. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Blade Chino, Austin Givens, Misti Phillips, Abbi Tipton, Shelby Bowen (Kyle), Steven Phillips, Joseph Phillips; great-grandchildren, Liam, Trintan, Silas and Bryson Bowen; a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Cliffside Cemetery with Reverend Scott Butler officiating.

Memorial donations are requested to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
