Charlene Hall, age 81, of Gilkey, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, July 18, 2022 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Charlene was born Saturday, April 12, 1941 in Fellsmere, Florida. She received an Associates Degree from Indian River Community College and taught in public and private schools for many years. Charlene also worked as a clerk for Dillard’s for several years. She was a faithful member of Life Stream Church in Chesnee, SC. Charlene enjoyed taking care of her pet animals and researching her family’s genealogy. She loved God, her church family and especially her family. Charlene was a grandma to everyone and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years, Edward Hall and a sister-in-law, Patty Tritt.

Left to cherish fond memories are her son, Tim Hall (Laura) of Gilkey and daughter, Angela Parker (Bobby) of Forest City; sister, Linda Crawford (Bill) of Cleveland, Tennessee; four brothers, Tom Tritt of Palm Bay, Florida, Jack Tritt of Old Town, Florida, Ric Tritt of Vero Beach, Florida and Charles Tritt of Vero Beach, Fl. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Life Stream Church in Chesnee with Reverend David Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 23rd at Harrelson Funeral Home.
