Charles and Brenda White

Charles Richard White, 68, and Brenda Graham White, 65, of Forest City, passed away within a month of each other. They shared a loving marriage and touched the lives of many in their community.

Charlie was a man of faith and integrity. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and later dedicated himself to a career as a Correctional Officer. His passion for fishing and family camping trips brought joy to his life. He will be remembered as a loving son, husband, and father.

Brenda approached life with strength, creativity, and a compassionate heart. She served her community by teaching and mentoring young children, leaving a lasting impact on generations. Brenda's fun-loving nature, kindness, and generous spirit made her a cherished friend to many.

They faced life's challenges together, demonstrating resilience and love. Their loss leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew them.

Charlie and Brenda are survived by their daughter, Jessica Cargile (Preston), grandson Logan Cargile, sisters Monea Hines (Steve) and Marcia Graham, Laura Lancaster, and Janette Jones.

They will be remembered at a memorial service on July 8th at 3pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist in Forest City, NC
