Cindy Poteat Jolley

Cindy Poteat Jolley, age 51, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Cindy was born May 26, 1969 in Rutherford County to the late David M. Poteat and Shirley Doris Champion Poteat. She worked as a personnel coordinator for Wal Mart for many years and was a member of Grace Chapel in Forest City. Cindy loved her God, her family and her fur babies. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Donald R. Jolley II; brother, David Steven Poteat (Angela) of Mooresboro; aunt, Debbie Hoyle (Roger) of Forest City; uncle, Donald Champion (Lisa) of Forest City; three nieces, Kayla Poteat Murray of Mooresboro, Monica Fite (Ethan) of Traveler’s Rest and Cindy Keever (Aaron) of Forest City; nephew, Keith Epley (Tara) of Forest City; great nieces, Savannah Murray, Hadley Murray and Cheyenne Keever.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Grace Chapel with Reverend Ricky Poteat officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Thursday at the church.
