Connie Mccurry

Connie H. McCurry, age 58 of 144 Sourwood Lane, Mooresboro, NC passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at her home. She was born June 15, 1949 in Houlton, Maine to the late Rex Hovey and Ada Adams Hovey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Allen Hovey, Carl Hovey, and Dana Hovey. Connie was a 16 year employee of Parker–Hannifin Corp. She was known as a hard worker.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Fred McCurry, Jr. of the home, three sons, Freddie McCurry of Forest City, NC, Chad McCurry and wife Lindi of Mt. Holly, NC, and Billy McCurry and wife Brandie of Six Points, NC; one sister, Linda King and husband Dave of New Hampshire; three brothers, Rodney Hovey of Bath, Maine, David Hovey of Topsham, Maine and Wally Hovey and wife Donna of Topsham, Maine; four grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Betty Jo Lowery and husband Bo of Forest City, NC and several nieces and nephews.
