Derek Hamrick

Charles Derek Hamrick, age 26, of Forest City, passed away November 17, 2007 at his home. Derek was born on December 25, 1980 in Rutherdfordton, NC to Doug Hamrick and Brenda Atkins Hamrick. He was a life long resident of Rutherford County and attended the Rainbow School in Spindale. Derek loved to travel and enjoyed watching movies.

Besides his parents; he is also survived by a brother, Billy Hamrick of Forest City; a sister, Leann Hamrick of Forest City; grandmothers, Geneva Atkins of Lattimore, NC and Margie Hamrick of Forest City; uncles, Johnny Atkins of Grover, NC, Jerry Atkins of Lattimore, Larry Atkins of Golden Valley, NC, Ronnie Atkins of Forest City and Randy Atkins of Lattimore; aunts, Roseann Green of Lattimore and Becky McVene of Alexander, NC.
