Frances “Tinker” Morgan, age 80, of Forest City, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

Frances was born July 6, 1940 in Rutherford County to the late Osborne McGinnis and Stella Price McGinnis.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.  Frances loved cooking for her family and taking care of them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Eugene Morgan; son, Keith Morgan and a brother Wayne McGinnis.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Pamela Morgan Toney (Coleman), Wanda Clark (Tim) of Forest City; brothers, Larry McGinnis (Janice) of Sandy Mush, Ronnie McGinnis (Debbie), David McGinnis of Forest City, Doug McGinnis (Sandy) of Cary, NC; sister-in-law, Reba McGinnis of Forest City; five grandchildren, Kevin Morgan, Brandon Toney (Jennifer), Steven Mode, Natalie Toney, Hayden Clark; seven great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Nate, Maci, Hailey, Ashton, Kinsley, Owen.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Harrelson Funeral Home.

Memorial donations are requested to the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC, 28043.
