Gladys Epps

Gladys Burnette Epps, 82, of Henrietta died on Monday, February 18, 2008. She was born in McDowell County to the late Lee and Mamie Davis Burnette and the widow of Barnie Epps, Sr. to whom she was married to for 39 years. She was a retired textile employee and worked as a weaver for 40 years. Gladys was known for always thinking the best of others.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Francis and husband Charles of Caroleen and Judy Latham and husband Gene of Shelby; one son Barnie Epps and wife Judy of Cliffside; three grandchildren, Dana Epps, Alisa Epps and Barry Latham.

Beside her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Mason and a grandson, Dennis Epps.
