Harvey Sisk

Harvey Sisk, age 72, of Bostic, passed away January 15, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby.

Harvey was born May 28, 1948 in Rutherford County to the late Lee McKinley Sisk and Fannie Connor Sisk. He worked in textiles for Cone Mills for thirty-seven years and owned and operated Harvey Sisk & Sons Grading for twenty years. Harvey was a proud member of the Shriners Club in Chesnee where he served as President.  He was a member of the Cliffside Masonic Lodge #460.  Harvey was an outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing and fishing. He loved his family dearly and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marcelle Morris Sisk; two sisters, Edith Toney, Linda Walker and a brother, Carl Sisk.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Shannon Sisk of Rutherfordton; son, Jeff Sisk (Susie) of Forest City; granddaughter, Karley Sisk; fiancé, Weida Jones of Spindale; three brothers, J.C. Sisk, Herman Sisk (Sonja), Jerry Sisk (Barbara) all of Forest City and sister, Margaret Lovelace of Forest City.

A private memorial service to honor Harvey’s life will be conducted with Reverend Wayne Toney officiating.
