Helen LePage, age 79, of Shelby, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby. Helen was born Monday, February 16,1942 in Rutherford County to the late John Thomas Harris and Bessie Lee Mitchell Harris. She was a homemaker who loved her family dearly. Helen enjoyed watching car racing and shopping. More than anything, she loved her kids and grandkids. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Helen faithfully attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church of Ellenboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Hicks and a brother, Carl “Bud” Harris.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard LePage; children, Teresa Smith of Union Mills, Reggie Smith (Kim) of Harris, Ronnie Smith (Tammy) of Morganton, Sherry Smith (Roger) of Ellenboro, Deborah Crowe (Daniel) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Barbie Davis of Shelby; three sisters, Creola Jones (Casey) of Harris, Pansy McCraw of Harris and Paulette Smith (Kurt) of Ellenboro. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.
No formal services will be conducted at this time.
