Jeanette Hampton Taylor, of Rutherfordton, passed on to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
She was born on Friday, August 21st, 1942 in Green Hill and spent most of her life in Rutherford County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Sue Hampton and was twice widowed by her late husbands, Horace Russell and Charles Taylor Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her son David Russell, daughter-in-law Kim Russell, granddaughter Paige Russell Fender and her husband Chris, and two dearly loved great-granddaughters, Finley and Jamie-Lynn Fender. She also leaves behind daughter Kathy “Rusty” Williams, brother Bill Hampton, and sister Ruby Clements, along with their families.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Green Hill Baptist Church cemetery with Reverend Dwayne Scruggs officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
