Katherine Gallagher

Katherine Oursler Gallagher, age 72, of Rutherfordton, passed away, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Katherine was born November 16, 1948 in Baltimore County, Maryland to the late Charles Oursler and Naomi Oursler.  She held different occupations in her lifetime, most recently she was a sculptor.  She served as a police officer in Baltimore and also worked as a hair stylist.  Katherine enjoyed gardening, pottery and making crafts.  Her favorite pastime was watching NCIS and never missed an episode.  Katherine loved her son and grandson more than anything in this world.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Cecil Henson and fiancé Christy Rowlette of Rutherfordton; brother, Charles Oursler, Jr. (Brenda) of Chesnee, SC; sisters, Barbara Spencer of Harris, Bonnie Linton and Betty Cramer both of Baltimore; grandson, Christian Rowlette and numerous nieces and nephews.
