Kathy Price

Kathy Price, age 59, of Landrum, SC, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Kathy was born on Saturday, August 22, 1964, in Dade City, Florida, to the late Charles W. and Bernice Henderson Price. She was a graduate of Pasco High School in the class of 1982 and later graduated from Spartanburg Community College. Kathy was a Lab Tech at Mary Black Hospital for fifteen years; she also spent many years working for Lab Corps. She was a member of Tryon Seventh Day Adventist Church. Kathy was an avid lover of cats and in her younger years, she thoroughly enjoyed camping.

Left to cherish fond memories of her life are her two sisters, Ruth Ann Price, of Tennessee, and Laurie Woods (Randy), of North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, which includes her loving caretaker/cousin, Susan Hensley, of Forest City. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Price. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, at Harrelson Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 4, in the Springhill Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Henderson officiating. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations have been requested to the Community Pet Center, 861 Piney Ridge Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
