Leonard Polovich

Leonard A. "Lenny" Polovich, age 54, of Mooresboro, NC, passed away at his home on Friday, September 7, 2007 following an extended illness. Lenny was born on January 19, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Leonard Burke and Elizabeth Polovich. He grew up in the Detroit, Michigan area where he lived most of his life. He worked for Flexon Industries as a line technician in Ferndale, Michigan until the company sold to Affina and moved his position to the Allen Plant located in Gastonia, NC. He relocated to Rutherford County at that time.

He is survived by an aunt, Virginia Lyon of Plymouth, Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his caregiver, Martha Kelly of Mooresboro, NC.
