Linda Davis Bridges

Linda Davis Bridges, age 73, of Ellenboro, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby.

Linda was born Wednesday, March 15, 1950 in Cleveland County to the late J.D. Davis and Lietha Tessenair Davis. She worked in textiles for many years and was of the Baptist faith. Linda was an avid NASCAR fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Neal Bridges; brother, Doug Davis and sister, Jennifer Crotts.

Left to cherish fond memories are her daughter, Rhonda Bridges (Stoney Pearson) of Ellenboro; son, Rodney Bridges of Shelby; sister, Cathy Warren of Shelby; brother, Tim Davis of Gastonia; seven grandchildren, Dana, Sara, Luke, Charlie, Matthew, Deanna and Elena Bridges; a great grandson, Hunter Owens.

A graveside service was conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating.
