Lois Ramsey Payne

Lois Ramsey Payne, age 91, of Mooresboro, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Fair Haven of Forest City.

Lois was born Sunday, June 21, 1931 in Cherokee County, SC to the late Thomas Lee Ramsey and Idella Wood Ramsey. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Ken” Eugene Payne; sisters, Irene Hutchins, Mary Beheler, Lena Smith, Katherine Hutchins, Hazel Lowery and Lou Hodge; brothers, Roy Ramsey and Ben Ramsey.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance to her wishes, she will be interred at Floyd’s Creek Baptist Cemetery.
