Maggie Gault

Maggie T. Gault, age 96, of 1533 Harris-Henrietta Road, Forest City, NC passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 at her home. She was born April 15, 1911 in Rutherford County to the late George W. Greene and Della Fite Greene. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, Guy William Toney and Robert L. Gualt, and four brothers, Wade Greene, Fred Greene, Leroy Greene, and Frank Greene. Mary was a long-time member of Floyd's Creek Baptist Church. She retired from Burlington Industries after 40 years of service. She loved knitting, gardening and her flowers.

She is survived by a daughter, Virgie T. Upton of Forest City, NC; a granddaughter, Brenda Upton of Forest City, NC; two grandsons, Boyce Upton of Sunshine, NC and Blaine Upton and wife Myra of Rutherfordton, NC; and two sisters, Lula Mae Green of Forest City, NC and Marie Greenlee of Alexander Mills, NC.
