Mallaree Greene

Mallaree Wilson Greene, age 71, passed away Monday, September 4, 2006 at her home on Harris-Henrietta Road. She was born on May 31, 1935 in Rutherford County to the late Colon Wilson and Bessie Pridgen Wilson. She worked as a beautician having owned Chase Beauty Shop for many years before her retirement approx 5 years ago.
She was a long time member of Floyd's Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Talmadge Greene of the home; four sons, Ray Greene and wife Pam of Forest City, Billy Greene of Mooresboro, Kenny Greene of Forest City, and Gary Greene and wife Lynn of Forest City; one daughter, Lynnette Ashe and husband Harold of Ellenboro; one sister, Clara Crump and her husband Alexander of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Tamara Ashe, Ryan Greene, Adam Greene, Christy Greene and Kayla Couch.
