Noah Greene

Noah Greene, age 78 of 183 Railroad Street, Henrietta, NC passed away Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Rutherford Hospital. He was born June 23, 1929 in Rutherford County to the late Joseph Arthur Greene and Corine Bridges Greene. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Lowery. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Henrietta. He owned his own business and was self employed. He was known for his keen sense of humor and his avid interest in birds.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nell Greene of the home; nine sons, Charles Roger Lowery and wife Shelby of Virginia, James Greene and wife Janice of Henrietta, Ronnie "Butch" Greene of Rutherfordton, Mike Lowery and wife Sondra of Henrietta, Ronnie Lowery of Henrietta, Jerry Greene of Shiloh, Phillip Lowery and wife Sharon of Shiloh, Keith Greene of Rutherfordton, and Wayne Lowery and wife Kim of Bostic; one daughter, Sandra Limerick and husband Johnny of Henrietta; one sister, Polly Condrey of Ellenboro; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
