Ostine Earley

Ostine Earley, age 60 of 588 Goodes Creek Church Road, Mooresboro passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Rutherford Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County. She was born January 3, 1946 to the late George Reid and Mary Biddix Earley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Lee Earley, of Bossier City, LA. Ostine attended Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church and was a long time employee of Key Largo in Sandy Mush. She was also a retired supervisor with Stonecutter Mills.

She is survived by her life long companion, William Splawn of the home, a daughter, Jilda McDaniel of Forest City; three sons, Shannon McDaniel and Todd McDaniel both of Lattimore and Rush McDaniel of the home. Also surviving are two brothers, Donald Reid Earley of Rutherfordton and Jerry Michael Earley of Gaffney, S.C. and three sisters, Joan Tesseniar of Warner Robbins, GA, Janice McGinnis of Sandy Mush and Geraldine Duncan of Ellenboro; one grandchild, Wesley McDaniel of Mooresboro; and many nieces and nephews.
