Pauline Burnette Moore, widow of Paul E. Moore, of Coffey Road, Forest City, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Fair Haven Home in Forest City.

Pauline was born April 15, 1925 in Rutherford County to the late Ray Burnette and Leah Queen Burnette. She worked for J.C. Cowan/Burlington Industries for over twenty years before her retirement. Pauline was a longtime member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, dairy work and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Faye Moore; three sons, Richard Wayne Moore, Ronnie Moore and Charles Roland Moore; one granddaughter; five brothers Boyd, Frank, Cecil, Bob and Howard Burnette and three sisters, Frances Carver, Hazel Jackson and Margaret “Peg” Baynard.

Those left to honor her memory include two loving daughters, Vickie Moore Gregory of Rutherfordton and Terri Moore Roberson (James) of Forest City and one sister-in-law, Tina Moore of Harris.  She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephew.

The funeral will be private for the family.
