Pearle Hardin

Pearle Mitchell Hardin, age 90, of Caroleen, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Rutherford Hospital. Pearle was born on May 24, 1916 to the late A. F. Mitchell and Margaret Greenway Mitchell. She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County. She was a long-time member of Caroleen Baptist Church where she served in various ministries which included being a choir member and as a Sunday school teacher. She had worked for Scott Vending for over 20 years eventually working as their commissary manager.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Hardin in 1990 after 50 years marriage.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy "Jerry" Bruce and her husband Jim of Forest City, NC. She is also survived by her grandson James L. Bruce, II of Rutherfordton and her sister Isabelle Braddy of Rock Hill, SC.
