Peter James Moore

    Peter James Moore, age 60, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

     Peter was born Saturday, May 19, 1962 in Laconia, New Hampshire to the late Emerson Moore and Joanne Sanborn Moore.  He liked camping, traveling, especially going back home to New Hampshire.  Peter enjoyed working in his wood shop. He loved spending time with his granddaughter.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of thirty-five years, Justine Prentice; sister, Deb Fish (Chuck); two brothers, Timothy Moore (Faith), Matthew Moore (Margo); a son, Spencer Prentice; and a granddaughter, Madilynn Prentice; and several nieces and nephews.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date in his hometown in New Hampshire.
