Raymond Norman

Raymond Briscoe Norman, 82, of Ellenboro, passed away Sunday, September 03, 2006 at Rutherford Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Norman was born December 23, 1923 in Rutherford County to the late James Hoke Norman and Michel Gibson Norman. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County having worked in the textile mills as an overhauler in the spinning area. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army. He was a long time member of Henrietta First Baptist Church where he had served as church treasurer for over 20 years and served in the office of Deacon. He was also a member of Cliffside Masonic Lodge.
