Rebecca "Becky" Cordell

Rebecca “Becky” Cordell, age 60, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Becky was born Wednesday, May 16, 1962 in Spartanburg, SC to the late Herman Bagwell and Betty Crocker Bagwell. She was a graduate of Chesnee High School and held earned Bachelor’s Degrees from Western Carolina University and Spartanburg Methodist College. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Becky was an animal lover and enjoyed taking care of her pet dogs and cats.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Richard Bagwell.

Left to cherish fond memories are her husband of twenty-nine years, Donald Cordell; daughter, Caroline Cordell; sons, Cody Cordell (Hannah O’Dell) and Colton Cordell all of Rutherfordton. She is also survived by a grandchild, Eden Cordell.

No formal services will be conducted.
