Rena Parker

Rena Gaynell Parker, age 85, of Bostic, NC, passed away at her residence on Saturday, September 23, 2006 following an extended illness. Rena was born November 26, 1920 in Greer, South Carolina to the late Claude Deese and Annie Hall Deese. Rena was a member of the Wilson Baptist Church where she worked in their Care Ministries providing food and support to bereaved families. She had retired from the textile mills having worked as a spinner most of her career.

She is survived by her two sons; Ronnie Suttle of Forest City, NC and Rodney Suttle of Mooresboro, NC; four daughters, Joyce Brandle and Doris Earley both of Bostic, NC and
Karen Johnson and Tammy Dixon both of Forest City, NC; two brothers Paul Deese of Clover, South Carolina and Norman Deese of Forest City, NC; two sisters, Revonda Conner of Forest City, NC and Millie J. Hennessee of Bostic, NC. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three husbands Robert Suttle, Clyde Dixon, and George Parker, also by a son Bob Suttle; two daughters Linda Allen and Barbara Dixon; two brothers Wallace Deese and Homer Deese, a sister Margaret Ray, and by a grandson Robert Wayne Suttle.
