Ronald Henson

Ronald Henson, age 62, of Bostic, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby.

Ronald was born Saturday, November 22, 1959 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late James Henson, Jr. and Norma Womack Henson. He was an avid North Carolina Tar Heel fan and a faithful supporter of East Rutherford High School athletics. Ronald attended Temple of Victory in Mooresboro. He enjoyed watching any type of sporting events.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an aunt and uncle, Martha and Willis Shew who were caretakers in his later years.

Survivors include a host of family members.

The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ernie Cole and Mr. Dale Causby officiating. Interment will follow in the Alexander Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
