Ruby Banks

Ruby McCombs Banks, age 86, of Ellenboro passed away Monday, October 23, 2006, at Autumn Care of Forest City following an extended illness. Ruby was born March 30, 1920, in Rutherford County. She had lived most of her life in Rutherford County where she retired as a spinner in the textile mills. She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church. Her family remembers her as a great cook.

She is survived by her son Jerald Rollins of Ellenboro; a granddaughter Misty Beason of Cliffiside; and a great-granddaughter Macy Beason. She is also survived by two sisters, Estelle Mayse and Lois Pritchard both of Forest City.
