Scott Fisher

Scott Fisher, age 74, of Bostic, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at his residence.

Scott was born Friday, May 21, 1948 in Rutherford County to the late Hobart Aaron Fisher and Grace Almeida Smith Fisher. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1967 and worked for Eaton Industries for twenty years and General Fireproofing for over fifteen years. Scott was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where he took great delight in singing to the Lord. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed pistol shooting competitions. Above all Scott loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Left to cherish fond memories are his wife of fifty-five years, Martha Fisher; sons, Chris Fisher of Charlotte and Clint Fisher (Tiffany) of Suwanee, Georgia; brother, Dennis Grayson Fisher (Debbie) of Forest City; sister, Shirley Crocker of Spartanburg, SC and grandchildren, Jace, Ella and Anna Fisher.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Monday, October 17th at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Matt Mills and Reverend Owen Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
