Shirley C. Biancardi

Shirley C. Biancardi, age 81, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, March 16. 2024 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City.

Shirley was born Tuesday, July 28, 1942, in Spring Creek, NC to the late D.J. Cogdill and Gay Wright Fleming. She worked in the sales industry most her life and Co-owned and operated Cardinal Realty for many years. Shirley loved dogs and raised Yorkies. She was a Cardinal bird enthusiast and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Havro; stepfather, Virgil Fleming and sister, Maude Smith.

Those left to treasure her memory include her husband of forty years, Patrick J. Biancardi; daughter, Sherry Gregg of Mooresboro; son, Jerry Havro, Jr. (Wendy) of Forest City; stepsons, Robert Biancardi (Amy) of West Linn, Oregon and Gregory Biancardi of Forest City; brother, Robert Clouse of Sacramento, California; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and her pet yorkie, Pee Wee.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 25^th at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Dale Austin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 24^th at the funeral home.
