Shirley Padgett

Shirley Tesseneer Padgett, age 64, of Harris, passed away Monday November 12, 2007 at the Rutherford Hospital. She was born March 22, 1943 in Cleveland County to the late Beulo Tesseneer and Zora Maliure Martin Tesseneer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Roy Morris Padgett and a brother, Kenneth Tesseneer. Shirley was a lifetime member of the Riverside Baptist Church. She was a retired textile employee. She enjoyed good preaching and singing and caring for others. She especially loved her grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by a son, Roger Padgett of Waxhaw, NC; a daughter, Beth Dobbins and husband Michael of Harris; grandsons, Troy Dobbins of Harris and Joshua Williams of Cowpens, SC. Also surviving is a brother, Bill Tesseneer of Fallston, NC and a sister, Judith Pruett of Boiling Springs, NC.
