Stanley "Bub" Davis

Stanley “Bub” Davis, age 73, of Rutherfordton, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Stanley was born Tuesday, December 27, 1949 in Rutherford County to Margie Elliott Davis who resides in Ellenboro and the late James R. Davis. He was a graduate of R-S Central High School, class of 1968. Stanley honorably served his country in the US Navy. He worked as a carpenter in the housing industry for most of his life.

     In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include a brother, James V. Davis (Glenda) of Ellenboro; nieces, Kimberly Davis of Ellenboro and Leighann Jackson (Marty) of Concord, NC; great niece, Kelsey Padgett (Jason), great nephews, David Davis, Troy Davis and Connor Jackson; great-great niece, Maleah Radford; great-great nephew, Kolton Radford.

     The memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
