Taylor Alexander

Taylor Grace "Gracie Mae" Alexander, age 17 months, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2006, at Rutherford Hospital. "Gracie Mae" was born April 17, 2005, in Rutherfordton, NC to Virginia "Gina" Mae Alexander and Robert Lee Burgess. She attended New Bethel Baptist Church with her family. She loved almost everything, including music, eating, and her family. "She was an angel sent from God".

She is survived by her mother Gina Alexander of Harris; her father Robert Burgess of Bostic; three brothers, Tyler Thompson, Chad Burgess, and Brad Burgess; maternal grandmother, Cathy Alexander, of Harris, NC; maternal grandparents Joe and Cindy Alexander of Harris; maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Cole of Harris, NC; paternal grandmother Diana Adkins, of Bostic, NC; godparents Christie and Kelly Piercy of Caroleen; special grandparents, Mary Quinn, J.C. Wilson and Vera Harris; uncles, Joey Alexander of wife Amy of Cliffside, Jeff Alexander and wife April of Center, TX, Eric Fraser and wife Kathy of Caroleen, NC, Josh Alexander and wife Allison of Harris, NC, Jamie Conner of Harris, and James Alexander of Harris, NC; aunts, Denna and husband Ricky Hoyle of Shelby, Jessica Alexander of Harris, Rhonda Pritchard of Mooresboro, NC, Angela Dyer of Rutherfordton, NC, and Jenny Whitner and husband Sammy of Forest City, NC. She is also survived by numerous cousins.
