Teresa Evans Mickles

Teresa Evans Mickles, age 61, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Teresa was born Saturday, October 28, 1961 in Rutherford County to the late Jonas Yates Evans and Shirley Bradley Evans. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family dearly. She attended the Caroleen Congregational Holiness Church. Her favorite pastime was taking care of her grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Evans and a sister, Barbara Owens.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jose Garcia; son, Jeffrey Evans (Sarah) of Forest City; brother, Terry Evans (Deborah) of Cliffside and sister, Jean Hill (Jimmy) of Cliffside; two grandsons, Noah and Liam Evans and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 13th at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Angel Rosas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
