Tracy Edward Stone

Tracy Edward Stone, age 65, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

Tracy was born June 20, 1955 in Wyoming County, West Virginia to the late Melvin Levi Stone and Dolly Bernice Anderson Stone. He worked in the coal mines in West Virginia in his early years and as a carpenter/electrician in construction for most of his life. Tracy enjoyed beekeeping, fishing and collecting antiques.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Troy Stone.

Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Rebecca Stone Cox; two sons, Joseph Edward Stone and Jason Allen Stone all of Forest City; four brothers, Tom Stone of Sandy Mush, Thurman Stone of West Virginia, Tennis Stone of West Virginia and Terry Stone of Virginia. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Isaac Allen Caldwell, Traci Nicole Cox, John Mark Cox, Philip Aaron Stone, Jonathan Paul Stone, Gabriel Levi Stone and a niece, Samantha Stone.

The family will hold a private service to honor Tracy’s life.
