Ulrich Leinhase, age 79, of Mill Spring, died at the Wendover Hospice House on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Ulrich was born on Saturday, April 21, 1945, in Germany, to the late Eric and Theresia Laudenbach Leinhase. Throughout his life, he lived in Germany, Canada, Michigan, Texas, and Florida, before finally settling in Mill Spring, North Carolina where he called home in recent years. Ulrich proudly served the United States as a Marine during the Vietnam War. Following his service in the Military, he worked for the Department of Housing and Urban Development as well as owning and operating Maximum Success Inc. which was his Real Estate School.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Pete Leinhase.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Leinhase, of the home; his son, Eric Ulrich Leinhase, of Trinidad, CO; his daughter, Jackie Boivin (Jamie), of the home; grandchildren, Jessie Driskell (Greg), and Jeannie Boivin; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Driskell, and Ivy Woconish; and a sister, Judy Duebel, of Michigan.
No services will be held as he requested, but his legacy and memories will live on for years to come.
