Virginia Ann Heywood, age 79, of Ellenboro, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at her residence.

Singer and artist…. Graduate of Penn State, and Pittsburgh Institute of Art, she was predeceased by her father, Tom O’Connor and mother, Doris O’Connor. During the years of 1957 – 1959 she had a radio program in Pittsburgh called Ginger Sings. In the early years, she sang with The Skyliners. Recently, she was a partner in the family business, Kat Man Duz and worked as an artist and interior designer.

She leaves husband, James; son, David Kuebler and spouse, Jennifer; stepson, Christopher Heywood and spouse, Tasha. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be conducted at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
