Obituary

     Diane Patricia Ross, age 76, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at her residence.

     Diane was born Thursday, May 16, 1946 in Rutherford County to the late Ralph Kimbrell and Iveria Harris Kimbrell.  Diane worked for KEMET Electronics for many years.  She loved going to yards sales, traveling and site seeing.  Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church. Diane’s family says, “that she made God smile”.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Ross.

     Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 59 years, George Ross, daughter, Lisa Watson (Kevin); grandsons, Brandon Ross, Kevin C. Watson (Heather), Cody Watson (Chelsea), and Casey Watson (Whitley); also, six great grandchildren.

     The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Smith Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Terry White officiating.  Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the church.
