Obituary

Esther Taylor Beheler, age 82, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Willow Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

     Esther was born Friday, February 3, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late Ralph Taylor and Lillie Smith Taylor. She was a graduate of R-S Central High School, class of 1957 and worked for Stonecutter Mill for thirty-six years. She also worked for H & H Car Sales as an office manager.  Esther was a member of Harmon Street Baptist Church and enjoyed taking trips to the lake. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Beheler and an infant daughter, Tina Louise Beheler.

     Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Teresa Harris (Greg) of Bostic; two sisters, Francis Laughter (Bobby) of Forest City and Cheryl Wingo (Reuben) of Rutherfordton; brother, Nelson Taylor (Linda) of Charlotte; grandchildren, John Marlowe (Cassandra Hattley) and Ashley Marlowe all of Forest City; great-grandchildren, Logan and Aubrie Marlowe.

     The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Mike Gettys and Reverend Mike Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
