Harley Upton

Harley Brandon Upton, age 22, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023.

Harley was born Sunday, April 9, 2000 in Rutherford County to Sommar Harris Waters and Casey B. Upton.  Harley loved motorcycles, being outdoors, hiking with his fiancé Callie and outings at the beach. But, most of all Harley loved his family, especially Keegan.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Reed Upton.

Those left to cherish his memory are his fiancé Callie Burnett and son Keegan; his mother, Sommar Waters (Micheal); father, Casey B. Upton (Lucy); sisters, Kinley Waters, Eden Upton, Lily Upton; maternal grandparents, Irby Harris (Linda); maternal great grandmother, Doris Harris; paternal grandmother, Cherry Branch; paternal great grandmother, Eula Williams, and many aunts, uncles and cousins that he was very close too.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Coopers Gap Baptist Church with Reverend Don Hollifield officiating.
