John Holland

Obituary

John Holland, age 57, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

     John was born Tuesday, October 13, 1964 in Germany to Larry Holland who resides in Rutherfordton and the late Shirley “Granny” Holland. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1982. He served in the US Air Force and was a veteran of Desert Storm. John worked for the local Red Cross Chapter where he taught CPR classes and was a past volunteer of the SDO Fire Department.  John was of the Baptist faith.

     In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Holland.

     Besides his father, survivors include a son, Mark Rands-Holland of Missouri; sister, Sherie Thomas of Rutherfordton and a number of nieces and nephews.

     No formal services will be conducted.
