John Littlejohn III, age 44, of Ellenboro, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby.  John was born Thursday, December 23, 1976 in Rutherford County to Brenda G. Guffey who resides in Ellenboro and the late John Luther Littlejohn, Sr. He worked for the Rogers Group Incorporated as an asphalt technician in road construction and was a faithful member of Piney Mountain Baptist Church. John enjoyed fishing and wrestling. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Tandi Littlejohn; children, Summer Littlejohn, Austin Littlejohn, Jordan Shelton, Zoe Digh, Brysen Rhoads and Colby Seigla; siblings, Diane Tate of Ellenboro, David Baynard (Bobbi) of Gaffney, SC and Tammy Jarhalm of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Amaribelle and Amani; a special aunt, Linda Edwards and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Piney Mountain Baptist Church with Reverend Terry Padgett officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 until 6:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
