Kevin Crain

Kevin “Randy” Crain, age 40, of Bostic, died Tuesday, December 17, 2019 due to an automobile accident.

Kevin was born November 9, 1979 in Caldwell County, NC to David Crain who resides in Union Mills and the late Joan Crain. He worked for Carpenter Designs in Ruth and attended the Church of God.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Frances Crain, Colene Hollar, Mildred Hatley and an uncle, Dwain Crain.

Besides his father, he is survived by a son, Morgan Smith; daughter, Cierra Crain; sister, Christine Crain of Union Mills; grandparents, Reverend Gene Crain and Nancy Winders Crain of Clover, SC and Leon Hollar of Lenoir; uncle, Randy Leon Hollar and aunt, Darlene Hollar both of Lenoir. He is also survived by three nieces, Courtney Poarch, Shayla Crain and Akira Poarch.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Gilkey Church of God with Reverend Henry Montgomery and Reverend Dennis Yelton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
